Happy Friday and happy May! I hope y’all had a great week. I was actually
in New York City for work this week so I am ready to relax this weekend. The only thing on the agenda is a celebratory dinner tonight for my good friend who defended his Masters this week!
This is one of my favorite summer looks --- it’s playful,
colorful, and versatile. The maxi skirt has been a staple in my wardrobe for
over three years now, and I would argue maxi skirts are a must have item in every girl’s
wardrobe. If you’re petite, and afraid maxi skirts will swallow you whole, then
pair them with wedges or heels. This J.Crew linen polka
dot tee is one of my favorite tops to pair with this maxi, but I also love it
with a chambray button down, white tank, or even a neutral sweater for cooler
summer nights. While this maxi skirt (originally from Target) is no longer
