Although this look is called
beachy layers, it’s just as appropriate to wear on an average late
summer day. These linen-cotton J. Crew factory pants are the most comfortable
pants I own and the length and color allow them to easily pair with anything. I’ve
worn these with my
wedges and
red silk blouse for a night out and also with my
stripe tee and
clogs for a fun casual look. We were on our way to dinner when
we shot this look and I knew I would be chilly in the restaurant so I grabbed my
Urban Outfitters Bali poncho. This is another versatile piece that
has been great to throw on over everything from tanks to dresses and even my
