Happy Labor Day! Today's look is one of my favorites especially because it breaks the age-old rule of no white after Labor Day. For me, it's all about how you style your white pieces. If paired with the right items, you can definitely wear white after Labor Day. Take this white eyelet dress from Old Navy. I paired it with my army green utility shirt and brown accessories and voila! It's transitioned and ready for a cool fall day. In fact, this utility shirt is the perfect item to throw over summer dresses and tanks as we transition into fall (I can't wait to throw it over this tank and maxi skirt look).
This utility shirt is from Zara a few years back but I tried on this Old Navy canvas field jacket last week and it is a great alternative! It's lightweight and incredibly affordable especially with the Labor Day sale going on. Will you be wearing white after Labor Day?
