Happy Friday! For today's outfit, I wanted to show how two simple pieces combined can create one killer look.
Ever since getting
engaged, I have been scooping up any pretty white dresses I see. This one I ordered from
ASOS for a bridal shower I had a few weeks ago. I loved the midi length and crisp pleats so I didn't want to distract from the dress with any jewelry. I knew that if I chose the right heels, I could really transform this simple dress though! I had been eyeing these
Steve Madden Carrson heels all summer as they seemed like a great heel that could go with everything. Plus, the thicker heel made me think they would be a little more comfortable than your typical strappy heel. While at first I was drawn to the neutral sand color, these blue ones were a fun change of pace for me and felt very bridal when I thought of pairing them with white. I love how this "bridal" look turned out, and I know I'll be reaching for this dress even after we're married --- I already have plans to bring it on the honeymoon :)
